How to create Custom Bullet Points in Microsoft word


A bullet or bullet point is symbol used to introduce items in a list. It can be an asterisk, black dot, a circle, or other mark that is found before the text in Microsoft word or PowerPoint. Either Microsoft word or power point have their own built in bullet points, but what if we want to use other pictures or bullets like our company logo?  

To create a custom bulleted list in Microsoft word, follow the below steps:

   Step 1: Click on Home button/ Tab

Click Home Tab
   Step 2:  Next from the paragraph category, click on the drop down arrow next to bullets

    Step 3: Now click on Define new bullet

    Step 4: After you click on define new bullets, you will see the following window

             
Symbol or Picture

On this window you have three options to create custom bullets these are different symbols, pictures like you can use your photo or logo and you can also use different font symbols. Let us see how we can create a bullet using picture


        Step 5:  To create bullet using picture, click on it and select the picture or photo you want to                     use
                  
                
Insert picture

               
You can browse files from your local computer or from the internet Bing image search and one drive, use your appropriate option and select the picture, click insert

Select and insert Picture

Step 6: You can align the picture the bullet point in relation to the text, select the alignment you want and click ok


Step 7: Check the result

Check the Result


Done !
